As a Texas Licensed Midwife and a Certified Professional Midwife, I am continually humbled by the powerful love of mothers and their families. It is an honor for me to serve them as they  undergo the transformation of pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. I see birth as a physical, emotional, and spiritual family event. It is a vulnerable time that requires nurturing, attentive, and respectful care.

My path to midwifery started with the birth of my third baby in 2010, when I was inspired by the care I received by my incredible doula. I went on to become a doula and then a midwife, to help create choices for women in how and where they give birth. Mothers deserve safe alternatives for birthing, and babies deserve to be born with gentleness and peace. These are the foundational beliefs I bring to my practice as I work with clients to create an environment of mutual respect, trust, and truly informed consent. My hope is to be an enduring part of your family’s growing village of community and support.
