My journey to becoming a midwife began when the birth of my first child at a local hospital left me heartbroken and traumatized. I had been in school to become a nurse and decided that was not what I wanted any longer. So I became a Doula and then later started my midwifery training. During midwifery school I became pregnant with my second child and had a redemptive home birth with a midwife.
Ashley is a licensed Midwife (LM) and a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) serving families wishing to have a home birth all over the DFW metroplex. All families are treated with the same
courtesy - informed consent, individualized care and respectful care. You are in charge of your pregnancy and birth. You will never feel less than for asking a question, wanting further information
or questioning why I do something a certain way.
All care is done in the space you are comfortable the most, your own home. This option is loved by clients who have multiple children, those who are not wanting to get out in the weather, the
sick season or be seen at an office.
Ashley has a special place in her heart for those who are seeking care after a cesarean -VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), teenage mothers, those who are new to the natural parenting world,
those who are afraid of medical care, victims of abuse and those who have served our country.
