I have been passionate about natural birth even before becoming pregnant with my first son 10 years ago. It would be years later before I recognized that early passion as a calling on my life.

My husband, Michael and I have three sons, all birthed naturally, with three different types of providers; including an OB in the hospital, a hospital water birth with a Midwife and my last son, born at home with the assistance of a midwife. After "catching" my own baby in the water at home I would soon feel that tug on my heart to help other women experience the gentle care and beautiful birth that had changed my life.

I believe that my personal birthing experience in several birthing locations gives me the unique ability and experience to help those who are seeking a natural birth at home or in a birth center. It is my desire to see more and more women being educated about their options in childbirth and being given the opportunity to have a peaceful intervention-free birth.

In early 2014 I founded Grapevine Birthing Center offering a central location to families in the DFW area to birth in a beautiful, updated and modern facility surrounded by providers who will know and care for them throughout their pregnancy. I love my families and am so grateful for the opportunity to share in such and intimate and life changing experience with them.
